Broken Foot
This is how I broke my foot…
We were out on the field during P.E playing capture the flag. The other team had all of the other footballs except one. In one blink one of my classmates on the other team had gotten the football he was running on the side I was on the only person who was left to stop him was me… I knew I had to do it for my team so I started to run as fast as I could as I was getting super close to him I knew I could get him he was so close! As I reach my hand out not playing attention about the field and the (drains!) My hand is so close when I reached out to get him I feel in the drain the drain has caught my shoe. In so much pain I still stood up (and got him!!!) YAYAYAY! As I was proud of myself I collapsed to the ground in pain. My friend on my team ran over to me (thank you!) As she took me to the nurse it was getting more swollen and swollen and more painful. The nurse knew something was wrong and the next day I woke up with my bone sticking out (grouse but not out of my skin.) As that day I was going to the doctor for a x-ray. As my mom and I sitting in the little room waiting for the news. The doctor comes in to my room with a pale face. “Umm sadly she has a hairline fractior” she mumbled. Right as I heard those words come out of her mouth I admiletly was crushed. “She may not walk on it for a whole month! then she will come back and we will see how it is.” After she left to give us sometime right as that door closed I started to ball. My life was over for a whole month no running at recess with my friends. The thing that I was most sad about it, I could not go to my home the tennis court. I could not play tennis. After getting a neon green cast I was driving home. As I was driving back we passed the place where I play tennis watching that fly by the tears came back in to my mind…
Campbell Stone Buddie!
Recently we went to a retirement home called Campbell Stone. We were put into groups and we all got buddies. We interviewed our buddies here are some cool facts about my buddy. As a kid she liked to run and swim. She was going to college to get a nursing degree but dropped out to take care of her kids. Her favorite job was being a nurses aid she would tell us what she would do like hold the tool during a surgery. She says that her biggest accomplishment was raising two happy children. She was also telling us how she has never broken a bone (and she is excited about that: D.) we also asked her “have you ever met a famous person?” Her response was yes Michael Duglous was in the crowd of one of her speeches (super cool!) She grew up in Florida and has one younger sister by 3 and half years and they talk on the phone every day. Her favorite singer is Jon Bon Jovi. She loves to watch all sports like football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and tennis. I had so much fun talking with my buddy from Campbell Stone! Thanks for having us! 
Homeless Bird Essay
Koly in this story learns how to read and write. Originally she was kept from learning how to read and write that was because she needed to do her jobs. Also many girls in India did not go to school and learn how to read and write they just learned how to do the jobs correctly. I think Sassur agreed to teach Koly how to read and write because he was a teacher and he teaches that. Also I think that is because he is a teacher but none of his students respect him or listen to him, but Koly was determined to learn how to read and write. I think that is what drove Sassur to think and say to himself “this is a girl who wants to learn and I can teach her.” Koly learning how to read and right effected her life in so many different ways. A fews way are when Sassur died Koly got his books and was able to read them. Also she was also able to teach other people to read and write like Raji. This let Koly take care of herself. So she could survive and communicate in a different way. Also since Koly taught Raji how to read and write when they were away from each other they could communicate by writing letters. Koly’s life was affected in many different ways because she knew how to read and write.
Main Event 2011
One of the main events in 2011 is the tennis US Open. This is a article from the New York Times about the US Open in 2011. This year was a special year for the US Open. The New York Times was there for all of the action of the 2011 US Open. I think this was a main even because this was a big year for the US Open. The last years champion and worlds # 1 were going against each other.
A main even in 2011 is the US Open in New York City. For some people it was a heart breaker and for some a exciting moment. The men winner for 2011 was Novak Djokovic. He played against Rafel Nadal. In 2010 US Open Rafael beat Novak in a heartbreaking match. This year Novak was back again and back to get him as the finals appeared and they were ready again. Novak won the first set as the second set rolls around he wins the second set only one more set and he would win the match. Rafael came back and and won the set 7-6. Then out of nowhere Novak won the fourth set 6-1 and he had won the 2011 US Open! Everyone was surprised as the base line king was just beet. “The Spaniards refused to yield.” He had earned his redemption and was proud of it. The final score was 6-2,6-4,6-7,6-1.

Homeless Bird
Koly is in a very bad situation right now not only bad but sad also. Hari is gone and now Chandra because she is getting married even though all of that I would hope to receive a little respect from mostly Sass so I would stay and work. Also since she is a widow she gets these letters from the office down in the village but Sass is taking them. Since now Sassur is gone Sass is also a widow she is now also going to have the letters from the office. Since Sass is getting her own I would think to myself well she is getting her own now I will get mine that Sass has been taking. I would stay with Sass even though she is mean and not nice. I would stay because one day after working for Sass for a long time I would know how to do all the jobs and work somewhere else. Even though I am not supposed to come home after a while I would need to get out of Sass’s control. With her silver earrings even though they are very special to her I would sell them because then she could have some money to start a life without anyone there but herself. That is what I would do if I was Koly if I was going through what she was. If I was Koly I would be feeling frustrated and sad and feeling like nothing good will ever happen again in my life. That is how Koly is feeling right now. Also if I was Koly I would try to make a new one since Chandra just left which means she has no one to talk to.
Gift Of Time Project
Over the holiday break for my gift of time project I was hoping everybody could have a wonderful holiday. To make that happen I donated chlothes and old toys of mine that I do not use fit or ware anymore. I also got my family to help me out we all donated things so everyone could have a wonderful holiday! Thanks for reading I will be bringing in pictures of when we resume school. Holiday Break!
Holiday break is coming very soon! (and my birthday haha!) This time of year is very fun! I can not wait to go see all of my family. I am going to Chicago to see my grandparents and then I am going to my mountain house in Jackson Hole we are going skiing! Thanksgiving Break and Michigan Football!
Over thanksgiving break I went to Michigan. We saw many friends and family and have a great time! I was able to see my cousins that I have not seen in three years! (It was great to see them!) We went bowiling and the girls went to the spa! Dinner was amazing! Also I was able to go to the Big House.(Which is the Michigan wolverine stadium) We stayed in our friends box it was awesome it was great to see it live they were playing Ohio state our rivals! It was a great experience! I got to see my favorite player on the team #16 Denard Robinson! The final score was… 40-34 WE WON!!!!!!!! ( we have not won since 2003!) YAY!!!! This was the best thanksgiving EVER!
