Hi and welcome to My Book Library! Most of you may not know this about me, but I LOVE to read! So here on My Book Library, I will post books that I have read, and recommend. So if you are looking for a book to read, come here! Check every week or so for new books, I will try to keep this page updated!
The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling: Books 1-7:
1) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
The adventure begins as orphaned eleven year old Harry Potter who’s living with Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, finds out he’s a wizard, goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to learn spells and brew potions and has soon made two friends: Hermine Granger and Ron Weasley. But the real adventure starts when he and his friends stumble quite by accident onto the forbidden third floor corridor….. Read the book to find out what happens to Harry and his friends!
2) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
At twelve years old and still living with muggles (non-magic folk) who try to torment him as much as possible, Harry longs to go back to Hogwarts. But when he gets to the platform to board the train that will take him to Hogwarts, he finds the magical barrier that will let him onto the train, blocked! Then when he finally does get to Hogwarts, he keeps hearing strange noises that no one else seems to be able to hear. Worse still the Chamber of Secrets has been opened and now people are getting scared so Dumbledore might sen everyone home. Can Harry get to the bottom of this to save the school? Read the book to find out what happens to Harry!
3) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban
Now at age thirteen Harry finds out that the dreaded Sirius Black is a supporter of Lord Voldemort and is looking for him. When he gets to Hogwarts Harry finds that even Hogwarts isn’t safe from the murderous Sirius Black. Can Harry reveal the truth?
4) Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
In Harry’s fourth year at Hogwarts, Harry get’s invited to the Quiddich World Cup game with Ron. Harry soon arrives at the Weasleys, and stays there until the World Cup. Finally they get to the World Cup and watch the games. But after the games Harry finds his wand is missing! Suddenly Death Eaters (supporters of Lord Voldemort) appear at the World Cup. Once the are taken care of someone fires the Dark Mark (Lord Voldemort’s sign) into the sky using Harry’s wand, then the Minister of Magic thinks that Harry fired the Dark Mark into the sky. Then back at Hogwarts they host the TriWizard Tournament….and Harry gets chosen as a contestant-even though it’s for 17-teen and older wizards only!! To top it off, Harry didn’t enter-and everyone thinks he did!… To Be Continued
