I will be more organized because I can make folders. This will be easier to do homework because my sister always uses are mac. This should help me with schoolwork. I love to make movies as projects so this will help. I want to explore garage band more and I movie. I will have more responsibility and power. This is a big upgrade for me. If my computer at home breaks I can use my school one. I will be able to find stuff quicker than I PC. I will love this because PC are slower than Macs.

If they have a test after recess, they could get an A. With a longer recess, students can make more friends. Students could also have more time to talk and socialize. They could find something in common like a sport or a favorite game. They could create a game out with some friends. That is why kids should have longer recesses.
Some people think that kids don’t need that much time outside. People think that kids need more study time to prepare for a test. If the kids don’t study enough they start to fail on tests and quizzes. The kids will also not have enough time for math or science and other specials. Then, when the go to elementary school they won’t have any talents. When they go to middle school there are no recesses. So the kids need to know how to sit still. This is why people are arguing that kids should not have longer recesses, but I still think recess is more important.

Who: Turkey suffering from an earthquake magnitude 7.2
What: A bad earthquake very deathly but good news is there was a 2-week year old kid still alive. Saved from a building.

Why do we care: This might get the U.S. involved with suppling water and food to Turkey. This might also be bad because if there economy gets hurt maybe ares will to.

I will be honest with you I am not really good at that. Never ever give up at your dreams and I have learned that. Always stick at your dream and never let anyone tell you who you are because they want you to be like them. Always be who you are.

Posted by Ben's Backflip Blog in : Uncategorized , 1 comment so farMy big question is how the Sumerians created the alphabet. I wanted to know how they started to put characters on a clay tablet. Also, I wanted to know how they based the characters from. I was interested in learning about how the Sumerians created the alphabet. I learned that only boys could become scribes and attend scribe school.
Cuneiform means wedge shape in Latin. The stylus was a tool to write cuneiform it was made out of reed. This system was used to keep track of the goods given to the temple. Then it was used to keep track of the economy. With this system, the Sumerians could keep track of the money and goods.
This is a topic I picked because I wanted to know how the alphabet was created. The Sumerian alphabet is one of the first alphabets used and that is how Geologists found the Sumerian civilization. I never knew this but after a long time, the language became more abstract or simple over the years. They created the alphabet to keep track of the goods originally.
