I can
Remember the
house with many lights?
As we get out of the car we bang
our heads against the gate, all of us see
the jack in the boxes. We eat our ginger
bread cookies and laugh and cheer. The smell of ginger
bread helps me remember the house with many different
lights

That”s so cool Kaki! I enjoyed your poem! I could see it in my head! What are you going to do for your “Gift Of Time” project? I need a good idea.
Keep up the good work!

That sounds so cool! I would love to see that house. Was that house in Texas? I can really imagine the house. Good job on the poem!

Kaki, what a fun poem. I love how you showed me you were running and excited when you said, “we bang our heads against the gate”. Thank you for showing, not telling.
