In class we are reading Homeless Bird. There is Koly, who is the main character, Hari, who died, Koly’s mother and father in law. When Hari died the mood was glum and bla. When I heard that Koly was getting married I was weirded out because she is only 13. Koly had to leave her home, get married then have her husband die is really sad. We have been also seeing bird imagery which is when you read something you think of birds.

Last week we met our buddies for the first time. We painted pumpkins! It was so fun. On ours we made a face with the stickers and painted some of it. we also had our Mesopotamia test. It was kind of long, but I knew most of the things on the test. Today we missed science because we are the only science class on F day so our substitute just decited not to come. This is sort of off topic but, the 6th graders went to Jekll Island, I’m jellous. We also played a really fun game in P.E. It was called big ball. the big ball is in the middle and you throw a bunch of little balls at it. The first team to get it across the other team’s line, wins. This is off topic too. Mr. Val came in today and startd cuting an apple. when he was finished everybody was amazed, he made that apple into a bird.

One year a man inscribed his life on a stone. He was very deft so he wrote it fast, but he was diligent. He thought it was very good sow he went to the town, walking with good posture, threw it into the ocean. The people who were watching stifled laughs.
