Weekly Update 7

Last week we met our buddies for the first time. We painted pumpkins! It was so fun. On ours we made a face with the stickers and painted some of it. we also had our Mesopotamia test. It was kind of long, but I knew most of the things on the test. Today we missed science because we are the only science class on F day so our substitute just decited not to come. This is sort of off topic but, the 6th graders went to Jekll Island, I’m jellous. We also played a really fun game in P.E. It was called big ball. the big ball is in the middle and you throw a bunch of little balls at it. The first team to get it across the other team’s line, wins. This is off topic too. Mr. Val came in today and startd cuting an apple. when he was finished everybody was amazed, he made that apple into a bird.

WW story 5

One year a man inscribed his life on a stone. He was very deft so he wrote it fast, but he was diligent. He thought it was very good sow he went to the town, walking with good posture, threw it into the ocean. The people who were watching stifled laughs. The man was sad, he had no idea why he just did that.

Mesopotamia project

So basically what I just said was that Enlil accidentally made a bad god who made demons. Demons bring peoples problems, bad gods bring natural disaster. I hope you enjoyed my blog, thanks for reading.

Mesopotamia project

Gods are similar to humans, they eat, drink, marry, and fight against each other. Gods are immortal and powerful, but they can still be hurt or killed. Each god made a set of rules for people to live by, these rules are called me. Me made everything go according to Enlil. Enlil was one of the four creators of all of the other gods. Something went wrong when he was creating another god and bad gods and were created. Bad gods made the demons. Demons bring sickness and death. They lurk in dark corners and in peoples houses. Bad gods fight against good gods. When the bad god is winning it brings sickness known as the plague, or disaster, for example it might bring an earthquake, flood, drought, or storm. When the good god is winning it brings peace, harmony and good harvest.

Mesopotamia project

Hi, this is Andrew P. I am studying gods and demons. Two of my good questions were,”Why are there good gods and sprites fighting against bad gods and demons?” “Why was there a creation of bad gods?” I choose this subject because I have always been interested in gods and myths, and always eager to learn more. Plus, gods are awesome in my opinion.
