RK was really fun. Mostly when you were going around with a i touch and taking pictures. This RK was a great experience for our first time. The water was great everyone was getting involve and i cant wait till next time

I thought River Kids went great. My job was macroinvertabrates. In this we had to find big,no-spined animals. We set out with buckets and nets to find macroinvertabrates. We found a HUGE spider, two salamanders, and some water bugs. Even though they were not macroinvertabrates we had fun. The best part about River Kids was being able to explore the creek. If I could change one thing I would make it less people in a group. Overall River Kids was great.

River Kids was awesome I had a great time being outside for such along time and the smell of the great outdoors. My job was pH testing. It was so much fun using chemicals i felt like an evil scientist! I know I was one of the people who said this is so much fun!!! It was cool to march around the creek exploring and matching the water exactly to the line on the tube! I know I will remember River Kids and I can’t wait till next River Kids

RK was the best experience I have ever had in Discovery Woods. I was a trash collector, and it is not as bad as you think. As a trash collector you got to go anywhere you wanted to go and pick up trash. I am so excited for the next RK.

I think River Kids is awesome. My job was DO testing so we had to see how much oxygen is in the water. My job is very important because if there’s not enough oxygen in the water fish or other animals that live in the water will die. What my group had to do was get a water sample put chemicals in it to make it blue then put drops in it to make it clear. Then depending on how many drops you put in it that’s the testing. My group got a 10 which is the best reading you can get.

River Kids was so much fun! I had a great time going all around Discovery Woods while trying to help the environment by being a trash collector! Sadly, my group found water bottles, beer bottles, trash bags,and lots more. I recommend this job to the next River Kids! I can’t wait for the next River Kids!

In River Kids I was a pH tester. It was fun! If I had droped a chemical that would be really bad. All of the water in the river would be polloutet! Now that would not be good. I can’t wait till the next river kids! I wonder what I will be DO testing. I love River Kids!

In River Kids I was equipment manager. I had such fun time! I had to work hard in the beginning and end, but I got to explore most of the whole River Kids.It was awesome! I wonder what job I will get next time.

River Kids was awesome. I had the trash collector job. I didn’t think that the job would be fun but it kind of was. Even though I did RK with different classes than I was supposed to it was still a lot of fun. I can’t wait for the next River kids and What job I will do next.

I loved River Kids. I was photographer/gps and we had a great time. I loved going around the creek and seeing what every job was while video taping them. Gps was more serious, we had to find pH and DO groups 1 and 2 and find the lattitude and longitude of the spot where they were working. This job was fun because it was easy and quick, and when we finished, we could go exploring or speng more time with the iTouches! River Kids was awesome and I can’t wait for the next one!
