Georgia has been my dog for five years. She is a wonderful addition to our family she is a golden retriever and she always wants to be rubbed and petted. When every someone walks by they say how she is always smiling and acts like she is a puppy but really she is five. She is a great runner and she is just the best dog I have ever had. One day last week I came home and saw Georgia laying on the floor. I asked what is going on. I was told she had trouble walking.We took her to the doctor and he took X-ray. The X-ray showed she had a tennis ball size lump next to her spleen. Yesterday we took her to the hospital and we had the lump removed and she is home with us tonight. We will find out if Georgia has is cancer or not Friday or Monday.

I feel that MacBook Airs is going to help me learn and make it less complicated to learn. I am going to enjoy my MacBook Air because you are free what you want to do with your MacBook Air. I am going to try to be more neat and keep my desktop clean. I am really excited to get my MacBook Air and play with the system preferences. The best part about the MacBook Air is that you are not banded.                                                                                                                                         

Many people would say that summer is better than winter, and I am one of them.  Frankly, I don’t understand why other people like winter better than summer. Winter does have snow to play in and it also has Christmas, but there is school and you have to put on jeans, gloves, long shirts, and hats to go outside. Putting on all those clothes is a pain that you don’t have to deal with during the summer because all you need is sun screen and a bathing suit. There are some good things about winter and some bad things, but summer is the better according to students in the fifth grade.

In summer, there is no school and you are free to do whatever you want, whenever you want. You can go to camp, the beach, the mountains, and really anywhere you want to go. There are many things to do because there’s no school during summer. The best thing about summer is that there is great weather, perfect temperature, and everyone has fun in the sun.  My favorite season is summer because I love the warm weather, feeling free, and not being pounded by homework or the pressure of getting projects in on time the next day.

According to a fifth grade teacher, summer is better than winter because there is warm weather and she can go to the beach and just chill. Another reason she likes summer is that she is free to do what she wants.  A fifth grade student says that she likes summer because there is no school and it is a great time to go outside and play. Another fifth grade student says that summer is better because the water is nice at the beach and you can go to White Water in the summer and you can’t in the winter. Finally, a fifth grade student I interviewed said that he likes winter better because he likes playing ice hockey, playing in the snow, and celebrating Chanukah.

While there are great things about both seasons and summer is the best because you can do anything and winter you have to do homework and all projects from school. This is why summer is better than winter.

If we only had wings the daring dream of personal flight.In 2008 Yves Rossy flies over Bex, Switzerland, borne by jet-powered wings he designed.

This is a image of a man flying with wings that he made by himself- If only you really could have wings and fly around that would be millions of dreams would come true. You could see the world like a bird and fly where ever you wanted and not get stuck in traffic. The best part about it is that you could fly around the world and not pay for plane tickets.

At Trinity School in Atlanta, Georgia there is an event called the faculty/staff and 6^th grade basketball game. This is held in Trinity’s gym. Every Friday before Spring Break they put on the basketball game because they wanted to get everybody excited for spring break and to equalize the teachers and the 6^th graders.

We were thinking and we said, “Are the teachers going easy on the 6^th graders”? So we asked and Coach Brain said,” That it depends on what the score is and the class”. The faculty/staff and 6^th grade basketball game was invented 10 years ago by Coach Brain because he wanted a way make the faculty and the 6^th graders equal so they invented the basketball game.

They would have had the basketball game earlier but at the old gym they didn’t have nice floors they had a gym with a carpet so when they got the new gym they thought, “How we could use the gym” So they came up with the basketball game. Every Friday before spring break at 1:00

The teachers and students all have a great time playing this basketball game and look forward to it the whole year and they don’t care who wins or loses because it’s such a great activity.

The students only have P.E. class to practice for the game or they can practice at home. The Basketball game is a great way to stay active and we think children should stay through 6^th grade or come in even if you’re new to experience this amazing activity.

The past week I went to my beach house and went to Universal. At Universal my favorite ride was Hulk and it is so fast its like lightning you go upside down and under bridges but you go so fast you don’t know your upside down I thought I was defying gravity and it made me feel happy. It makes me wonder how did they make that ride? You really would have to be smart to make any ride.  My favorite part at the beach was swimming at the pool and beach the waves looked like giants compared to me that made me feel tiny but it was fun getting smashed by the waves. I wonder what makes big waves and small waves?

4. In Koly’s family all the woman embroiled and they take their time in their work and make’s the sari beautiful and that helps Koly out a lot. With Koly with that talent she got a job in the city because when Sass left Koly in Varanasi she lived on a door step but than Raji found Koly and brought Koly to a place where young widows stay and she found a job as an embroider and meets another young widow there named Mala and she does the same thing as Koly she embroiders and in the story Mr. Das the guy they work for finds out that Mala is a thief by finding a gold string in her purse. If her family was not all embroiders she would not be in a good situation

2. In India Koly is originally kept from learning to read or write because she is a girl and she does not go to school because girls are supposed to work at home and get jobs that don’t include reading or writing but with Koly it is different because her Sassur teaches Koly how to read and write. Sassur agreed to teach Koly how to read and write because they tricked Koly and her family to help try to save Hari and he wanted to do something good for Koly so he taught her how to read and write. Reading and writing have a big impact on Koly for her whole life she asked Sassur for Hari’s book Tagar’s poems and she got to read that book because of Sassur teaching Koly how to read.

Over the weekend I went to the taste of trinity. At the taste of trinity I had a part on the stage I was the dragon it was really fun. After we preformed we got to go and eat all different foods from lots of different countries. It was really fun and I enjoyed trying new foods. Then we had to go home because it was over but I really enjoyed it.

On Saturday night my family and some friends of ours went to see Cavalia in mid town Atlanta. It was really cool because there was lots of acrobats that did so many flips, spins, and my favorite push ups with there feet in the air! My favorite part was when a guy was riding on a horse while he climbed under the horse and came up on the other side! We got back stage passes to see the horses that were in the show when we saw the horses they were eating so we didn’t see much. After that we went home and went to bed at midnight.

Being able to spend time with my family over the holidays was one of the best gifts I got. I think it was really nice of us to write letters to the people in the hospital because it is always nice to spend time with family over the holidays and they didn’t get to this year. If I was in the hospital over the holidays I would really enjoy getting cards to cheer me up. One of my favorite parts was that we got to make the cards to bring joy to other people. All in all it was fun for us to make the cards and fun for them to get the cards and bring a little happy Christmas spirit to them over the holidays.
