I think it is going feel great and I am going to love it. It will definitely help me be more organized and get stuff done a lot more quickly than before like a homework assignment. Having a mac will definitely make learning easier for me. One reason is that if I forget something I can get it with out having to call a classs mate or my teacher. Something new that I am going to try is customizing everything on my computer not just my screen saver and other stuff I am going to change colors use pictures and all that jazz.

The Man with a Mustache

There once was a man and he had the most fantastic mustache in the whole world. Everyone who saw his mustache was intrigued. Everyone was so happy but there was a man he was bald so when he saw this mustache he thought he had an opportunity to vanquish hair forever and everybody shave themselves. So the bald man was on a mission to shave the man’s mustache but the man with a mustache was benevolent so he let the bald man shave off his mustache. But then the man without a mustache laughed and took of the the bald cap he had on his lip where he put a fake mustache and marveled at his real mustache. Then the bald man thought he was a big tyrant and told everybody how the man with (out) a mustache relinquished to him. He engrossed everyone in his false tale. A few months later everyone had given up on the man with (out) a mustache so later on that day the bald man was walking down the street enjoying seeing everyone with no hair when the man with a mustache swooped in and banished the bald man from this earth forever and dropkicked him to the moon.

Weekly Update 15

 Last week we had the Greek Olympics! There are two parts of the Olympics the Olympics of the mind and the Olympics of the body. The Olympics of the body has 11 events Paton relay, chariots, marathon, javelin, discus, golden ring toss, shot-put, 50 yard dash, hurdles, long jump, high jump. I did Marathon and discus. I was also in the city-state Thessaly. The winners of the Olympics of the Body are the city-states of Sparta and Megara! The Olympics of the Mind is basically a big trivia quiz but you get to work with your whole city-state the winners were the city- state of ATHENS!

When I saw this picture it looked all of the world’s ice all mashed together in different shapes, patterns, and designs. I can’t imagine that this ginormous hunk of ice is floating.  Also that this is made naturally and everything like the cracks happens naturally. Also It reminds me of a wooden bowl carved so carefully to get a perfect pattern that nobody could create again.

The Great Divide About 2500 visitors cheered as a shelf of ice 230 ft. tall broke off the Perito Moreno glacier in Patagonia, one of the regions most popular attractions. Though the 97-sq miles glacier frequently calves, this type of massive collapse has occurred only a few times since such an event was recorded in 1917, most recently in 2008. Water flowing beneath the ice causes the dramatic splits.

This Christmas break what I did to volunteer was make a bird house with my grandpa so he could have something to do. I also play my guitar on Christmas for my family and I also played with my to little cousins on a swing I made.

Hi my name is Matthew. This week my class and I are trying out  for the Nutcrcker. My class and I have just finished our Mesopotamia segment in social studies now we are studying Egypt. The class is also taking two quizzes in math Thursday and Friday.  In one week the whole grade is going to the High Museum. We are also going to have a Wordly Wise and math test on Tuesday. In a few week’s the whole grade is going to preform the Nutcracker. The Nutcracker is a tall tale of a girl named Marie and a Nutcracker who travel to magical candy lands where the meet Russian baker’s and candy flutes and Chinese tea makers. While the nutcracker and Marie are on there journey the Nutcracker has a duel with the Rat King and triumphs his victory over the Rat King.
