Parenting

There is something so odd about dropping my child off at school. Her independence amazes me.  As her parent, I want to know, were you polite today?  Did you share well?  I know that what I teach her outside of school should transfer to her experiences elsewhere.  But I don’t necessarily have proof.  At the end of the day, I can only hope that it does.

Of course I’m not a parent, but I truly believe that if she happily skips off to school and she’s got a big smile on her face when you pick her up you are doing something right! Take pleasure in your daughter’s happiness! You are a great mom and you deserve her smiles!
