Famine in Somalia

In the world many bad things are hapaning including the famine in Somalia. In Somalia 6 places were declared famine areas! It is so sad that innocent people are literally starving to death. I want to help so much because, when I hungry I grab something from the refrigerator and they can’t. We have so much food, they would do any thing for our scrapes from dinner.

I can tell that you really care about people regardless of who they are or where they live, and that incredible empathy is such a special quality you possess. I remember when you did your last current events report on the famine in Somalia, and you really inspired your classmates to care as well. What are some things you think we could do to help? This might be a question for our “What we want to know” bulletin board. Maybe if we can come up with some possible solutions for how we can help, we can do something as a class. I would love to help you explore some options for increasing awareness of the issue, and inspiring some Trinity students and teachers to help the people of Somalia. If this is something you’re passionate about, I would encourage you to think about how you can make a difference!
