Tittle: Post Office Wants More Than Mail
Source: The Wall Street Journal
Who?: The post office.
What?: The post office is making the stamps one cent more and they are trying to figure out ways to raise money like, selling other items.
Where?: The U.S. postal service.
When?: Right now.
Why Do We Care?: If the postal service does not raise enough money they might not deliver mail on Saturday or if it gets really bad, the postal service will shut down.

Wow Meg! That’s a great post. I don’t think anyone in our class knew that! I like how you added the Source and the title. I think that is very interesting. Can you tell me more!? ( on you’re blog of course) ( by the way, you don’t have to)
Meg,
I had no idea that the post office was raising the prices to get more money! That truly is a great Current Events post! I have got to tell my mom and dad that because they have letters to mail all the time, and they would really want to know that. Plus I mail letters and I don’t want to pay extra! That is an awsome Current Events post! I hope you get a ton more praising comments!
Your amazed friend, Anna Kate
I never knew that Meg! I hope they make some more money. How else will I mail out birthday invitations? If you ever hear more on the subject please let me know. I can’t wait to hear more on the subject. I still have to send out thank you cards!
Hi Meg!
I think this is very interesting because most people send their letters by e-mail, but it is still fun to see a letter addressed to you in the mail. And, people put more effort into letters. I wouldn’t want the post stations to close because my grandmother sends me letters and I love seeing them.
