I half agree half disagree. I agree with the fact that kids should have time to do other activities, but having homework helps you practice for any upcoming events you have on the material. Also, it helps your mind learn new things. I think homework is important even if you have to take up your afternoons to do it.

Melissa, I really agree with your post. Homework is really hard for lots of people. I also think children should have homework though because it actually helps you learn! Although not having homework would let you have more fun you also need to think about this in a educational perspective. Not having homework might mean your not learning what you should but no one would know. Great Persuasive Writing post I made me really think about homework from a different perspective! Good Job!

I love your post Melissa! I feel that I am also like Frita in many ways. I will share with you one vivid memory that I have from when I was in 5th grade. I used to have a friend that was not well accepted in school because of her economic situation and I always stood by her and I did not let anyone offend or hurt her in any way. We were friends for many years and the fact that I always stood up for her just made our friendship get stronger and stronger. I cherish that friendship and I am glad that I met my dear friend Fabiola. I learned many, many things about myself and my beliefs thanks to that wonderful friendship.

I really like Frita too! She is very nice, outgoing and stands up for her friends. I also really like how strong she is to be able to beat up a bully. Great Post Melissa!!!!
