I think that the new macs are a great idea. It will be a great opportunity for us students to learn more about organization and macs itself! It will also be nice to be able to check our email and research and do homework during either our free time or during RWR, or even during an after school activity. I can’t wait to have my own computer that I can customize however I would like.
Getting my own mac is going to effect my learning because I will be able to do many different things. I will get to see how well I can work independently and also how responsible I can be for keeping my computer in a safe spot, clean, and charged. I can’t wait to see what effect getting my own mac will have on me.
Getting my own mac will be fun, but very new. This means that I have to continue to practice being very responsible. I am also going to try new apps such as keynotes to make projects for school.

“ That long lost city, now rediscovered underwater, was a center of trade and pilgrimage and a ritual site for Cleopatra and other Ptolemaic pharaohs.”
In this picture, very determined people are looking for the roman woman, Cleopatra. This picture was taken by Christoph Gerigk. These explorers must have been very determined to find her! When I look at this picture, it makes me think about how hard these people must have researched and practiced for this event! I also think about how many times these men must have tried and failed, but they never gave up! Someday, I hope to be as determined and proud as these brave men.

There was once a benevolent boy named Tom. He was assigned to go on a secret mission. Nobody was allowed to know. Including his parents. However, Tom esteemed his parents. He had to go on a trip far away to complete the mission. Somehow, he needed to get his parents to consent. When he asked his parents, they said no. He had made up a lie asking if he could spend the night at his friends house. Finally, he relinquished trying to get approval. He intrigued a plan to sneak away overnight. He knew that overnight, when everyone would be asleep, would be the best opportunity to get away. Tom thought about how it would feel to complete the task. It must be marvelous ! At midnight, Tom snuck through the kitchen and tiptoed outside. It felt fantastic! He started walking across his extensive yard. Then, he stopped. He thought about what his parents had said. Then, he thought about what a great prize he would get for completing the task! He became so engrossed in his decision making, that he lost track of time. Before he new it, it was almost morning! Finally, he decided to go back home. He was going to discreet what his parents had said. Tom walked back upstairs and climbed in his soft, warm bed. When he woke up, he thought about his choice. He was proud of what he had chosen, because he knew that he needed trust, more than prizes.

Over spring break I went to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. One of my favorite rides was Test Track in Epcot. Test Track is a roller coaster and the fastest ride. At the end of the ride, you go outside on a track in the air. You turn all the way sideways. I love this part the most! It is an amazing feeling. It feels like you are flying. The wind hits your face. I can’t help but laugh! You can feel a ton of momentom during the turn. Your legs and body go stiff. When the breaks quickly go off after the turn, you fly backwards and become pinned to the seat. Then, you stop and you immedeatly get your breath back. When you get off the ride, you can’t feel your legs. I love this ride because of the speed!

Doing the gift of time was really a better feeling than I thought it would be. The gift of time is when you take up your time to help someone do something just for the kindness of it. To share the gift of time, I read aloud a christmas book called Christmas Cookies to my 6 year old brother, because earlier that day we made a bunch of cookies. The book was about a girl who made christmas cookies with her family. On each page, there was a big word like Kindness. Then it gave an example of how the girl did that word. It was a great story. I made it a little more interesting by pointing out weird or funny details in the illustration. He had a great time, and so did I.file://localhost/Users/christibarr/Desktop/IMG_0738.JPG

Does anyone besides me know how amazing trinity school is? Imagine you getting up at about 5:45 every morning and driving to school to work! The teachers even stay after we get out! Then, they go home and do more work! Don’t you think that 8 hours is a lot? Well, imagine like 9 and a half! These teachers work so hard to make a fun and educational day for us! Campbell was about as good as Mrs. Carter at making one subject, that took up a lot of her recesses. It turns out the teacher have to do at least triple that work every day! The teachers are so nice, and everyone should be thankful for them! However, I think if I had all that work, I would need my students to be perfect. I wouldn’t need more of a mess to clean up! So, I thought that over the next part of the year, us students should really work hard on making our awesome teachers life more easy by cleaning up the room perfectly before we leave, have great manners,( like saying yes ma’am or no sir), listening without having to hold up our heads in our hands, and thinking about how these magnificent teachers feel! Thank you so much to the amazing teachers of Trinity School!

I totally learned so much, and it will make me have a very thankful thanksgiving! She really changed the way I looked at thanksgiving! Thanks a lot to Mrs. Berry, and I hope everyone has a happy thanksgiving!

A lot of people think that I am “addicted” to Disney because I have been 23 times. Well, I have to be addicted for a reason, right? First of all, Disney World is not all princesses! In fact, only 1 part is princess! Disney has 4 amazing theme parks with all different themes. Magic Kingdom is the main park, with different lands such as Liberty Square, Tomorrowland, Adventureland, and lots more! Epcot is pretty much the land of the future! Hollywood Studios is movie land, and Animal Kingdom has all the animals I can imagine, like tigers, bats, and SO many more! Disney also has some amazing restaurants! You really have to go to Disney World before you can judge it!

I love writing! I have written several fictional stories. I think that the oldest one I have I made when I was about 7. I use mini notebooks to write in. I can get inspiration very easily. I also love to illustrate my work. I especially like to draw cartoons. I hope we have sometime this year to write fictional stories!
