Next year 5th and 6th graders get their own mac book airs. I cant wait! I feel like I will have more responsibility. I feel happy to have one because I can take it home and have my own computer and not use my moms. I think it will help me when I don’t understand something on a test study guide and I don’t have a book I can just look it up on my mac. It will also help my learning because it will be there when I need it. I know a lot about macs because my mom has a mac book pro so i will know a lot about what to do. I will want to learn more about imovie and how to use it. I can’t wait to get Mac Book Airs next year.

Should children be able to bring their own lunch at Trinity School

In my opinion, I think children at Trinity School should be able to bring their own lunches. One reason is because a student’s lunch from home might taste better than the school’s lunches. Students could eat what they want and not what the school provides. Second, it might cost less money to bring lunch from home than get lunch at school. For example, you could just make a plain PBJ at home, while the school lunches produce more which costs more money. Although I am thankful for school food, I think children should be able to bring their own lunch to school.

Some parents think kids should not be able to bring their own lunches. They think kids shouldn’t be able to bring their own lunches because it can be more of a hassle for parents. For example, a child could complain until he got food he or she wanted. Finally, school food could be healthier than food from home. A child or parent could pack food that is not healthy and a school lunch is required to be healthy and balanced. Even though some parents think children should eat school lunches. I still think the benefits of being able to bring lunch outweigh the points these parents make.

This year in baseball you have to try to make it into the 11 and 12 year olds group which is called the majors. If you don’t make it you go back to 10 year old group called triple A(aaa). How it works is if you make it to major you get drafted to a team. The next year you are on the same team same coach and you get new 11 year olds and the old 12 year olds leave. This year I am on the SF giants. At the beginning of the season we were 4-1 now we are 5-7. My coaches are Coach Melhouse, Coach Derek, Coach Ryan, Coach Hyle, and Coach Goodwin. Coach Melhouse is are head coach and he is mean and gets mad easily. Coach Derek, Coach Ryan, Coach Hyle, and Coach Goodwin are so nice and always helpful. Next year Coach Derek will be are head coach. I play right field because most 11 year olds don’t get good positions. Our captain on our team is a player chosen by the coaches. This year our captain is Evan M. Who is a 12 year old and is kind and helpful. I hope I get to be captain next year. I can’t wait.

  There are very little similarities from 1976 and 2012. Some examples are black and white people both go to the same school, we both have cars, bullies, books, and Olympics. Some differences is black and white people did not like each other. One example from the book is Duke would be mean to Frita and Gabe. I do not think Gabe worries about being friends with Frita because Frita helps her with her troubles and is a good and truthful friend. I think in the rest of the book Duke will die in a car accident and Frida and Gabe will go to the 5th grade and have many adventures.

This Saturday I am going to Durham with my mom and going to a Duke vs. Virginia Tech basketball game. The ride is 7 hours which is perpetual. It will be so aggravating. When we get there we will go to our hotel and check in. The next day we will get up and get ready for the game. I will get in all my Duke clothes and may even get a crazy blue wig to wear. Then we head for the stadium(Cameron Stadium). There are three brothers on the team, Mason, Miles, and Marshal Plumlee. They are some my favorite players. I hope Duke will substitute a lot so I can many see them all play together. I hope none of the players from either team get really mad, that could be very perilous. After the game we will go outside and wait about an hour so we can meet some of the players. It will be so fun. Next we will go to the bookstore. Hopefully I do not go crazy and buy a lot, that would be extravagant. That would also diminish the amount of money I have. Finally, we will have to ride another perpetual ride home. I can’t wait!!!

If you don’t know I am doing football. At the beginning of the year football was a night mare. Football is ok now that I think about it. I wish I was playing tennis and baseball instead of football. My team in football is awesome. We are the Houston Texans We are undefeated and only have one more game till playoffs. My teammates are so funny. Luckily I have some awesome coaches. One coach sometimes gets mad but at the same time you see him singing and dancing to thriller. My other three coaches are extremely nice. Their names are Coach Jauquin, Coach Jason, and Coach Shoup. Coach Jauquin is my favorite. He always pushes me around and is so funny. Coach Jauquin was a right linebacker, Defensive tackle, and Defensive end for Michigan. He won a Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, and the Big Ten Conference. Luckily I am a lineman which means I get  Coach Jauquin as a coach. Coach Jauquin teaches our lineman. He in charge of nothing but the lineman. My team is the best team ever!

My whole life I have been a Bulldog fan. Most of my life I have wanted to go to a Georgia Florida football game but every year I end up watching it in my living room. Georgia and Florida are huge rivals. Usually I am begging my dad to go but the answer is always no, but this year I didn’t even ask. I was in my bed one night and my dad walked in and asked me if I wanted to go to the Georgia Florida game. At first I thought he was kidding. “Seriously mom is getting the tickets tomorrow”. Awesome!! I was so exited. He told me it would be him, my brother, and me. The next morning my dad woke me up at 5:00.”Come on we are going to the game”, remember? “Yea but why now”. If we leave later we will miss the game. Fine. I got in the car and my dad told my brother and I to get comfortable because we have 6 hours to go. My brother and I both sighed. When we got there it was packed we could barely find a parking space. Finally after driving for a long time we found a spot. We walked  around for a wile just checking out Jacksonville. After a wile my dad asked me if we wanted to go over and say hi to one of his friends who has a RV? sure we said. so we started walking and after a wile we saw a bunch of RV’s. My dad told us that it was a tradition for people to bring down trailers on Wednesday and say their until the game on Saturday. We started walking through all of the RV’s when we saw my grandparents and the man who owned the RV. So we walked over and said hello. My brother and I wanted to go in the RV so my dad asked the man who owns it if we could go in? He said yes but… don’t get near the dog. He will bite. My brother, dad and I walked over to the door and opened it. I could tell by just what we saw at that moment that I wanted a RV. We walked inside and saw a tiny chiwawa sitting on a couch. The RV was so cool, it had two couches, one on each side, and flat screen TV. We kept walking and walked into a bed room. In the bed room they had a queen size bed and another flat screen TV. I wondered how they fit a queen size bed in there, but it can happen.  After we came out we headed for the stadium. When we reached the stadium we walked in and found our seats. We were on the second to last row up. We had an amazing seat. At the end of the game Georgia ended up winning 24-20. Every one was so exited. It took us at least  30 minuets to get out of the stadium. When we finally got to our car it took us 20 minutes to get out of the parking lot. Once we got out the police man made us go the opposite direction from the beach house we were going and so it took us one hour from the stadium to the house. When we got back we walked in and saw my Grandparents making shrimp and corn. “You hungry?”

“Yeah.”

We got a good dinner awesome I walked in a room and sat down for dinner. My dad walked over and handed me a plate. “Here”

“Thanks” I walked over and turned on the TV. When It flickered on the Georgia Tech, Clemson game was on. I am a Georgia fan but my uncle went to Georgia Tech so I pulled for them. After dinner I watched the rest of that game which ended up GT winning witch is suppressing because Clemson is #5. When the game was over I went to bed. Again I got woke up early to head back home. My dad sat on the edge of my bed and if the Georgia game was worth coming. “It was totally worth it.”

“Good” When we got to the car my dad said 7 hours down 7 hours to go. When we got home my mom wanted to here all about it. I told her that it was the best football game I have ever gone to. After that I knew I was never going to go to a better game than the 2011 Georgia Florida football game.  GO DAWGS!!

I am so exited for halloween, Aren’t you? It is going to be the best halloween ever. I am being the Cameron Crazies. If you didn’t know, Cameron Crazies are duke basketball fans. The reason people call them Cameron Crazies is because Cameron Stadium is where Duke basketball plays. And the crazy part is because their so crazy. I am going with Charlie T. Charlie is also a big duke fan. We are going to paint our stomach blue and white. Charlie’s stomach is going to be blue and have DU on it in white and my stomach is going to be blue and have KE on it in white. It is going to be awesome!! I hope your as exited as I am.       William W.
